Athletic Highlights: Maggie was a 4-sport athlete at Bettendorf High School, competing in volleyball, basketball, track & field, and softball - earning a total of 13 varsity letters despite her senior track and field and softball seasons being cancelled due to the pandemic. A 6x Drake Relays qualifier and a 10x state meet qualifier across her three seasons, Maggie was an integral part of their relay success during her time in high school. As team captain in volleyball, she was a MAC All-Conference Honorable Mention selection. In basketball, she was voted MAC honorable mention in 2018 and was a second team MAC all-conference selection in 2019. She was also selected to participate in the senior All-Star Iowa vs. Illinois game in 2020. In softball, she was a second team MAC all-conference selection. For all of her contributions, she was selected as the Bettendorf High School Female Athlete of the Year in 2020.
Maggie went on to play softball at the University of Northern Iowa where she was able to use her speed on the base paths, contributing to her team's successes. The Panthers were 2x regular season conference champions during her time there in 2022 and 2023.
Coaching Highlights:
Maggie began her coaching career as an assistant coach with the Bettendorf softball team beginning in Summer 2022. She was the head JV softball coach in 2022 and the next season, was moved up to be an assistant coach with the varsity softball team. The Bulldogs were state tournament qualifiers in 2023.
Maggie will begin her first season with Pleasant Valley Girls Track & Field in 2026, assisting with our sprints, hurdles, and relay events.
